Mrs. Anne G. Last, age 87, formerly of 2517 Dewey St., Manitowoc, died Thursday
evening April 27, 2000, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2000, at Immanuel Ev.
Lutheran Church. Rev. Dennis Broehm will officiate with burial to follow in
Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Anne Michal, was born February 12, 1913, at Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Frank and Katherine Swoboda Michal. She attended schools in Manitowoc.
On May 10, 1947, Anne was married to Harold W. Last, at Manitowoc. The couple
lived in Manitowoc, moving to Minocqua in 1975, moving back to Manitowoc in 1986.
Anne was a crossing guard for many years, in Manitowoc. Harold preceded her in
death on July 15, 1990. Annie was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. William (Letty) Last, Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Adeline) Michal, Manitowoc;
one sister and brother-in-law, Helen (John) Schroeder, Manitowoc, two nephews,
Richard Schroeder, Australia, James Michal, Olympia, Was.; one niece, Bonnie Henne,
Bremerton, Wash. Anne was preceded in death by one infant brother, Frank.
Relatives and friends may call at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church on Monday from
9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
