Emil C. Miller, 79, of 3919A Springhill Dr., Manitowoc, died Friday at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church Chapel,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Bruce Hanstedt will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Miller was born June 28, 1897 at Tisch Mills, son of the late Albert and
Julia Mathieson Mille. He married Lucinda Nelson Sept. 22, 1917 at Manitowoc.
She preceded him in death Nov. 25, 1970. Mr. Miller was the founder and owner
of Miller Welding Service which he later operated with his son-in-law, James W.
Torrison. Mr. Miller returned from the business in 1960.
Survivors include two sons in law and daughters, James W. and Audrey Torrison
of Manitowoc and Remo and Colleen Cameranese of Brookfield, a brother, Earl E.
Miller, of Manitowoc, a sister, Mrs. Ben (Marion) Schmiedicke, of Manitowoc,
eight grandchildren, Maren Piekarski, Scott Torrison, Christine Perdue, Roxanne
Morgut and Martin, Kenneth, Bruce and Gordon Cameranese and three great grand-
children. A sister, Esther Miller, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday
and Monday until 11:30 a.m. when the casket will be moved to the church to lie
in state from noon until the time of service.
