Mable C. Schroeder, age 83, a resident of North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation
Center and formerly of 1419 N. 8th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday, Sept. 12, at the
center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran
Church wth the Rev. Richard Miller officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born May 3, 1916 at Cato, Wis., the daughter of the late William and Minnie
Hardrath Miller.
She graduated from Reedsville High School in 1933. She then continued her education
in Milwaukee at the Milwaukee Layton School of Art for two years and then came to
Manitowoc, attending the Manitowoc Business College for two years.
She married William C. Schroeder on Aug. 23, 1941 at Reedsville. He preceded her in
death July 23, 1978. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Peter and Mary Lynn Schroeder,
DePere, the Rev. William (Jr.) and Georgene Schroeder, Springfield, Ill., and Paul
and Mary Schroeder, Watertown, Wis; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cory and Ronald
Weber, Saginaw, Mich., Sue Beth and David Larson, Stevens Point, Wis.; four sisters
and one brother-in-law, Lillian Sobieck, Manitowoc; Violet Barth, Green Bay, Wis.,
Myrtle Schaube, Menasha, Wis., and Louie and Reubin Kodet, Kiel, Wis.; nine grand-
children; two great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and
friends.
A brother also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10 a.m.
until the time of services at 11 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
