Robert G. Staudt, age 67, of 1840 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening,
October 11, 1994, at John L. Doyne Hospital, Milwaukee.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 14, 1994, at the
Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with
burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born May 25, 1927, in Manitowoc, son of the late Raymond Sr. and Bertha
Schwartz Staudt. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World
War II. He married the former Alice M. Van Deurzen on November 24, 1954, at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death January 13, 1978. Mr.
Staudt was employed with the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company for 40 years until
his retirement. He was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church and the Manitowoc
Eagles Aerie #706.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Steven J. and Judith Staudt, Little
Rock, Ark.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Judith Ann and Steven Jagemann,
Milwaukee, Bonnie Lynn and Larry R. Neelis, Manitowoc, Amy Joan and Rusty Hall,
Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Orin Clasen, Manitowoc; five
brothers and four sisters-in-law, Donald and Doris Staudt, Raymond and Marilyn Staudt,
LeRoy and Delores Staudt, all of Manitowoc, Gerald and Marilyn Staudt, Chicago, Ill.,
Wayne Staudt, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Stephen and Alison Jagemann,
Heidi and Tyler Neelis, Jake and Jared Hall; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends also survive.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday where a prayer
service will be held at 7 p.m. by Deacon Paul Kieffer.
