Albert H. Strong, 39, of 3701 Custer St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Tuesday night at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Patrick Bernardy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, with military graveside rites by VFW Post 659 of Manitowoc.
Mr. Strong was born Oct. 20, 1923, at Oshkosh, son of George and Clara Pommereing Moenig Strong. He was graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, in 1941 and managed Kinney Shoe Stores at Manitowoc, Sheboygan and Minneapolis, Minn.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant in the 508th Fighter Squadron from Dec. 11, 1942, until Sept. 14, 1945.
He was a member of Eagle Aerie No. 706, VFW Post 659 and the ERA Assn. of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his parents, a brother, CWO William, of Fort Sheridan, Ill.
