Mrs. Anthony (Hilarie) Theodorou, 70, of Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc, died
Thursday evening at the home. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday at Urbanek
and Schlei Funeral Home and 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Donald Schneider will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Theodorou, nee Hilarie Brey, was born July 9, 1904 at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Joseph and Molly Stenson Brey. She was a Manitowoc resident all her
life. She was married to Anthony Theodoroou Aug. 17, 1940 at Manitowoc. She and
her husband owned and operated Tony's Grill of Manitowoc from 1947 to 1966. Mr.
Theodorou preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1961. She was a former member of St.
Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, George of West Germany and William of Manitowoc; two
daughters, Mrs. Jay (Elene) Wagner of Milwaukee and Mrs. Lee (Mary) Walotkiewicz
of Two Rivers; two sisters, Sister M. Georgeen of Hacienda Heights, Calif., and
Mrs. Albert (Marion) Aurie of Luxemburg and seven grandchildren. A brother, Leo
Brey, a sister, Stella Ingrisch and granddaughter, Samantha, preceded her in
death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Ninth Street Chapel, from 4
to 9 pm Sunday where a wake service will be at 7:30 pm.
