Born Sept. 15, 1912 in Dunkirk, the son of Carmelo and Grace Baglione Amoroso. He attended Dunkirk Schools. He had been employed by True-Temper as an assembler, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church and the Dunkirk Moose Club. He was an avid bowler, winning numerous tournaments and receiving many trophies and awards. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be missed by his entire family.
Surviving are two sisters, Jennie Ameno and Josephine Alonge, both of Westfield. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. His parents and two brothers, Anthony and Benny Amoroso, preceded him.
