He was probably the most energetic supporting member of our Maurer Family reunions at Baltners East Mountain Scranton Pa. He was the devoted husband of Bertha Lewis Maier and the Father of Janet and John Arch Maier. John Arch was maried to his High School flame Mary Weiss. Janet was the Telephone operator of the Scranton, Pa Fire Department in City Hall. She died of Serious ear- Mastoid Infection about 1942. ~Pete Huester
