ADAM AUCOIN
Adam E. "Frenchie " Aucoin, 77, of 9520 Stevens Rd. died Saturday morning at Bossier Health Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Monday at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel with the Rev. Albert Huckabee, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Summer Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Aucoin, a native of New Iberia, had been a resident of Shreveport for 35 years. He was a retired self-employed painter.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie Aucoin of Shreveport, three sons Earl Aucoin of Hammond,Ind. and J.L. Stroud and Ellis Stroud both of Shreveport; four daughters, jean Eckles of Alvin, Texas. Louise Audas of Houston, Texas. Irene Milner and Mamie Gowan both of Shreveport; two sisters, Mary Landry of Lafayette and Anna Hoffpauir of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
