Recent deaths - Sawyer - Died at the Lee Memorial hospital, April 14, William A Sawyer of 54 West Second street. He is survived by a son Benjamin Sawyer, four stepdaughters, and two brothers John of Oswego and Golden of Fulton. Funeral services were held from Holy Family Church Monday morning Rev William J Tracy officiating, internment at St Mary's. The deceased was born in St Regis Falls but has resided in the Fulton area for the past 60 years. He was a paper maker by trade and retired from the North End paper Co four years ago. His death followed a long illness.
