A Wedding at Luke

Mr. Clinton Carlton Shade and Miss Atlantic Mazella Grainger were united in the holy bonds of marriage at the home of the bride's father in Luke, on Wednesday night, by Rev. W. D. Good, pastor of the United Brethren Church. Mr. and Mrs. Shade immediately left for an extended trip to Boston, the former home of the bride.

----------------------------

She was a daughter of George E. Grainger and Harriet Pinches.

Her nickname was either Hallie or Hattie.

----------------------------

Westernport, Md., July 16.

The death of Mrs. Clinton Schade, which occurred the latter part of the week, was a sad occurrence in many ways. The deceased contracted her last illness while nursing her sister-in-law, Mrs. Thomas Boho of Luke, with typhoid fever. The latter recovered from her illness, while the former passed into the great beyond. She leaves a husband and one child to mourn her death. Mrs. Schade was formerly Miss Arrington, of Duke, her brother being a general foreman of the coating mill at the plant of the West Virginia Pulp & Paper Company of Luke. The funeral took place from the M. E. Church South, of Piedmont, W. Va. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Wheeler. Interment was made in Philos cemetery, of this place.
