Nine children were born to this union, four of whom preceded her to that bourne from whence no traveler returneth, while five are left to mourn her death: Mrs. Sutton of Salem, Ore., C. J. Griffith of Raymond, Wash.; Allen Griffith of Fremont, Neb., and Mrs. Bechtel of Geneva, Neb. She was left a widow, and after living in widowhood for a number of years was united in marriage to Richard Kinsey, who died in Washington a number of years ago. The closing years of her life were spent with her daughter, Mrs. Bechtel of Geneva, Neb. She was ready when the summons came and passed triumphantly to her home beyond on the morning of June 11, 1921, aged 79 years, 8 months and 26 days.
The funeral took place from the Geneva Methodist Church at 3:30 p.m. Sunday and was conducted by Rev. R. H. Thompson. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
