She was the widow of Norman E. Niewald. They were married June 28, 1939.
Lorene is survived by a daughter Shirley Jean Goodwin of New Haven, a brother Howard Langenberg of New Haven, two sisters Harriette Roche of St. Louis and Eunice Layman of Gahanna, Ohio, a granddaughter Glenda Brice & husband Scott of Hannibal, Missouri, a grandson Ron Edwards & wife Kim of Quincy, Illinois and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters Lillian Langenberg & Mabel Broeker.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Haven, Missouri. She was a frequent visitor of the New Haven Senior Center and she was the contact lady for the Oats Bus. She worked for Langenberg Hat Factory for 36 years.
