Sirenia Howard, who lived on Otter creek six miles southeast of Piedmont, Mo., and who had many and friends in Reynolds county, died of dropsy at her home Mar. 23, 1908, leaving a husband and nine children to mourn her loss. She was the mother of twelve children. Three of that number had gond on before, the other nine were with their father by the bedside to witness the end. She had been a member of the Little Lake Baptist church on Otter creek near her home for over 20 years. Before she died she called all the family around her bed and gave them good advice as to how she wanted them to live. By a Friend, S. C. Wayne county papers please copy.
