Henry Clark died at 1:15 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Nicholson (Mae) two miles north of Toulon, Death resulted from Pneumonia.
Mr. Clark was born in Pug Lane, Litchfield County, Connecticut; March 15, 1853. He was 79 years of age at the time of his death. He formerly resided in Moline with a daughter, Mrs. E. Nelson (Emma) making his home there for twelve years previous to coming to Toulon. He had only been bedfast since Friday.
Mr. Clark was preceeded in death by his (2nd) wife, Alice Allen, who died April 11,1916, and two sons; John and Edward Clark. He is survived by six daughters by his last marriage and one daughter by a former marriage to Charlotte Milem Mrs. Bert Babb of Neponset; Mrs. B. Hawotte of Neponset; Mrs. Mike Kuttler of Kewanee; Mrs Fred Nicholson of Toulon; Mrs. E. Nelson of Moline; Mrs. Mervin Hemm of Moline; Mrs. Grace Herr of California. He is also survided by a brother Will Clark of Mason City, Iowa, twenty-six grandchildren, and thirteen greatgrandchildren.
