Allison is found in the 1861 census in Kingsclear, York County on the farm of his parents. As he grew older he ventured out and worked as a wood salesman travelling to various parts of the Province. He was twin to brother William Franklin Currie and stayed single until his death in the Provincial Hospital in St John, NB. He is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, his name faded by time on a fence.
