The Oklahoman, May 10, 1955: Services for Vincent Louis Mikeska, 59, longtime Oklahoma City carpenter who died in University Hospital here Monday are pending at the Merritt Funeral Home. Mikeska was born in Caldwell, TX, and came to Oklahoma City with his parents in 1901. He was a carpenter by trade and lived at 2438 W. Grand.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Mary Ann Mikeska, 3317 SE 19; Mrs Margaret Gill, Talihina; and Mrs May Wings, Whitesboro; and a son, Vincent Louis Mikeska Jr, 1022 NW 42.

There are also seven sisters, Mrs Rose Baiek, NW 46 & Meridian; Mrs Matilda Kratky, NW 49 & Meridian; Mrs H. D. Rush, 5823 NW 42; Mrs Alvina Kratky, OKC; Mrs Francis Sefcik and Mrs Lillie Hampton, both of Britton; and Miss Anna Miseska, Eola, TX; and a brother, Joe Mikeska, 3920 NW 11.
