John Quincy Adams 1942 ~ 2004 SYRACUSE, UTAH – John Quincy Adams died after a long illness and is finally at peace. He was born in Payette, Idaho to R.S. (Buck) and Helen Adams on July 15, 1942. He graduated from the U of U with two Masters Degrees and was on his way to a PhD. when he met and fell in love with Mary, the love of his life. They were married for 35 years and had three wonderful children, M. Jennifer Woodbery (Ted), John Quincy (Melanie) and Patrick Price (Ruzena). The light and loves of his life were his grandchildren, Quincy and Raquel and he anticipated with joy the arrival of Jennifer's baby in December. Quince loved his family and did what he could to assure their health and happiness. Quince taught History at Sunset Jr. High and then became a Counselor at Woods Cross HS. He was a voracious reader, loved poetry, golfing, hunting and fishing. He loved to take his children water skiing, rabbit hunting and fishing for croppies.
