Johnny Britt Adams, Sr., a long time resident of Atlanta, Georgia, died on July 4, 2003. He was the son of Milton Smith Adams and Ida Danielly Pierson. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Thomaston, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was plant manager for Pioneer Boneless Beef Company and retired as a food inspector for the Atlanta City School System. He was survived by his wife of sixty-two years, son, daughter, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
