~MY ANCESTOR~
ROBERT TODD was the son of JOHN TODD who fled the persecution of Claverhouse in Scotland to Ireland in 1679. Robert Todd & his second wife came to America in 1737 and settled near the Trappe region of Pennsylvania. He was a farmer and his family attended this church. Robert Todd, Sr. is my ancestor and the ancestor of President Abraham Lincoln's wife, Mary Todd Lincoln.
His son, DAVID LEVI TODD, was my ancestor.
