Aaron Lee Barber, 49, former long-time resident of Cortland, passed away after a brave battle with a lengthy illness at United Helpers Nursing Home in Ogdensburg, NY. He was born to the late Byron and Hattie Acker Barber on January 10, 1963. He is survived by his sister Karen (Robert) Donaldson, niece Robyn Conner, nephew Edward Donaldson, great nieces Mackenzie and Bellica Conner and great nephew Dominic Conner.In addition to his parents, Aaron was predeceased by his sister Katherine Ardis. Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 18 from 1-2pm with a funeral service to begin at 2pm at Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland.
