Lillie Mae Jenkins died Saturday, April 1, 2000 in Wellington at the age of 93.

She was born July 29, 1906 to Charles N. and Ada Gardener Allison in Hood County, near Lipan. She moved from Wellington to Lubbock in 1954 and after residing in several other places, returned to Wellington from White River Lake in the mid 1980s. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, fishing and writing. She married Eugene Warren Jenkins on June 30, 1923 at Madge, OK. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Crooks in 1978; a grandson, Robert Antoon; five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Irma O'Rear of Wellington; 11 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
