At his home, 14 Maple street, occurred the death of Aaron B. Campbell, at about 6 o'clock last evening. Mr. Campbell suffered a shock last Thursday evening and was found by his family unconscious at his barn. He has failed gradually since that time. Mr. Campbell was born in Westford and would have been 74 years of age had he lived until July. Much of his life was spent in the vicinity of Westford and Milford and he came to Oneonta from the latter place six years ago. The deceased is survived by his wife, four sons and three daughters, Frank M. Campbell, Fred J. Campbell, R. J. Campbell of Oneonta, Russell Campbell, Nevada; Mrs. Georgianna Butler, and Miss Julia Campbell, Oneonta; and Mrs. Mary White, Rochester. He leaves also two brothers, Jonah Campbell of Norwich and Fenimore Campbell of Oneonta.

The funeral of Aaron Campbell was held from his late home, 14 Maple street, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and Rev. T. G Dickinson, D. D., officiated. There were in attendance many friends and neighbors and the relatives, all of whom reside in and about Oneonta. Numerous floral tributes, including pieces from the employees of Terrell & Campbell and of the Empire bakery expressed the sympathy of friends and neighbors. The bearers were, George Hurlbutt, George Campbell, Floyd Farrington, John Wright, D. B. Jackson and A.C. Menzie. Mrs. Wilson sang Rock of Ages and Lead, Kindly Light. Interment was at Glenwood cemetery.
