Ruth Irene Ysunza

Ruth was born in Yale, Oklahoma, Edward Theodore Ysunza and Ruth Irene Gooch were married on December 13, 1947 in Berkeley, California. Ruth and Ed had four children: Theresa Lynn, Edward Theodore, Steven Michael and Joan Marie.
As a resident of Auburn, Ruth enjoyed working at the Gold Country Fair, receiving and judging entries. She was active in the DeWitt Senior Activities - clogging, exercise, ceramics etc., and long time member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Ruth's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren; teaching them gardening, canning, baking, sewing, reading Ruth's husband and son Edward Theodore preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, August 18, 2012 Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Poolside, 1502 Love Way, Auburn, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ed Ysunza Memorial Scholarship Fund with checks made payable to Colfax Recreation Association and sent to the Colfax Recreation Assoc., P.O. Box 732, Colfax, CA. 95713
