Mildred E. Ransom, 89 of Clare, passed away on Sunday July 5, 1987, in the Clare Nursing Home.
She was born on March 4, 1898 in Chatham, Mass., the daughter of Bradford and Julia (Pitts) Bloomer.
Mrs. Ransom was a member of the St. Cecilia Church and had worked for years in the dining room of the Barnes Cafe and later worked for 9 years at Excello.
She is survived by a grandson, Wayne P. Richardson in the Armed Forces in Germany, and a nephew. She was predeceased by a stepson Ernest L. Richardson. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Stephenson-Wyman funeral Home in Clare. (Clare Sentinel,p.10 – Clare, MI – 7 July 1987)
