A source of strength and courage to his family and community.

He was a member of Christian Hope Baptist. Church, 3418 Anita where his Pastor and dear friend, Rev. H. Stroman will deliver the commemorative sermon.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Jessie M. Barkley; son, Gerald E. Barkley, daughter, Stephanie Barkley-Bryant (L.B.); grandson; brother, James F. Barkley; mother-in-law, Espanola Gainous, sisters-in-law, Gloria and Rosetta; and a host of relatives and friends.
