The Oklahoman, July 24, 1938: Rites for D W Baldridge, 85, state board of agriculture employee, of 413 NE 13, are to be Thursday, 4 pm in Guardian funeral chapel, with interment in Rose Hill burial park. Baldridge, a native of Mississippi, died Wednesday at his home after a 2 month illness. For 24 years he had been with the state board and he was a member of St Luke's Methodist church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Hermine Edelman, of the home; two sons, John, of the home; and Homer A, 438 NW 48; and four grandchildren.
