She was born on Jan. 28, 1935, in Marion County to the late Frank Henry and Carrie Irene (Johnson) Noggle. Sandra was a receptionist for Dr. Edward Jenkins, Wilsons C.J. of Course, Delaware; The Little Clothing Shoppe, Delaware; Disbennett Real Estate, Delaware; Delaware Chamber of Commerce; assistant to Dr. David R. Smith, Delaware, Dr. Ward & Gantt OBGYN, Dr. Lloyd Moore, Magnetic Springs; Baldauf Lumber, Delaware; Oak Haven Golf Course; and Noggle Insurance Agency, Delaware. She was a member of the Delaware Board of Elections, former Brownie scout co-leader and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 115, Lioness Club and Eastern Star all of Delaware. Also, a former Sunday school teacher, she was a member of the Indian Lake Community Church where she helped start the Outreach Program I.L.C.C. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and Moose Lodge and was an 18-Gallon Blood Donor.
She is survived by her second husband, Robert E. Easterday, whom she married on Sept. 18, 1981, in Delaware. Also surviving are three daughters, Gina (Ralph) Gorgas Taylor Moseley of Prospect, Jana Gorgas Foos of Richwood and Jodi (Michael) Gorgas Petree of Redwood Falls, Minn.; three stepchildren, Jeffrey A. (Gloria) Easterday of Delaware, Bruce E. (Elizabeth) Easterday of Attica and Mark D. Easterday of Delaware; a brother, Charles E. (Marilyn) Noggle of Upper Sandusky; sister, Eleanor (Robert) Graves of Brooksville, Fla.; her grandchildren, Zachary (Stephanie) Taylor, Brookston Taylor, Stormy and Skyler Foos, Charli and Alix Miller, Bradley Easterday and Kim Johnson; great-grandchildren, Braxton and Shelby Taylor; several nieces and nephews; and her #1 dog, Fergie.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles R. Gorgas.
The Revs. John Ellington, Jim Ellington and Karen Blackburn will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Indian Lake Community Church where visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, and one hour prior to the funeral service.
