Funeral services for Sherry Parker Watkins, 64, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bob Sherrill and Wayne Parker will officiate with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, August 17, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Watkins died Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Born in Fairmont, NC, she was a daughter of the late James Daniel and Pauline Matthews Parker. She was a woman full of dignity, love, truth, and the Holy Spirit. She truly had a heart of gold.
Surviving are her husband, Bobby Ray Watkins, Sr. of Hartsville, SC; daughters and son-in-law, Paula Watkins of Columbia, SC, Nicole (Arnold) Floyd of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Elizabeth Floyd, Joshua Floyd, Aaron Floyd, Daniel Watkins, Robert Watkins, Terrence Watkins. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Ray Watkins, Jr.
