Nance rites set Friday
Services for Opal Marie Nance, who died on Tuesday in an Austin hospital, will beheld on Friday, Jan. 2, at 3 p.m. at Seydler-Hill Chapel. The Rev. Clint Lowery will officiate, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Shelton Gibson Arno Nance Jr., Leslie Meaker, Randy Meaker, Curtis Pilla, Alvin West Jr.
Ms. Nance was born on May 6, 1952 in Gonzales, to Arno Vincent and Alta Lucille LePori Nance, natives respectively of Harwood and Gonzales County. She was a member of Memorial Heights Baptist church.
Survivors include her mother, Alta Nance; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Dorothy Ann) Chambersand Linda Sue Nance; four brothers, Donnie Ray and Arno Nance, both of Tomball, Billy and Johnny Wayne Nance.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The family has requested that those who desire may make contributions to the Memorial Heights Baptist church's Memorial Fund.
