Oswald Vilbre "Bill" Galloway, age 90, a native of Bush and longtime resident of Bogalusa, died Monday in Resthaven Living Center. He was a charter member of Memorial Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon.

Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home today from 4 until 9 p.m. and will continue after 8 a.m. tomorrow. The funeral service will be held in the chapel tomorrow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Starnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Galloway Cemetery at Bush.

Preceded in death by his parents, William Found and Isabelle Galloway; two sisters, Adrean Fitzgerald and Estelle Core. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Galloway of Bogalusa; two daughters, Brenda Westmoreland of Franklinton and Sharon Ringo of Lafayette; one son, Michael Vilbre Galloway of Bogalusa; and seven grandchildren, Joshua, Amy Westmoreland, Daniel Westmoreland, David Ringo, Jonathan Ringo, Suzanne Galloway and William M. Galloway. Pallbearers will be Joshua Westmoreland, David Ringo, Jonathan Ringo, William M. Galloway, George Core and Jerry Core. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Westmoreland and the Deacons of Memorial Baptist Church.
