Mary C. Nolan Reid (1924-1996), age 71 years, died Friday, February 23, 1996, in Biloxi, Mississippi. Born in Jackson County, Mississippi, Mary Nolan married William B. Reid Sr. (1921-1984), a Biloxi native who made his livelihood as a commercial fisherman.
Mary was preceded in death by William B. Reid Sr., her spouse; and two sons, James 'B.B.' Byrd and Charles 'Bubba' Byrd.
Mrs. Reid was survived by three stepdaughters: Pam Moffette of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; Audrey Harris and Wanda Ryan, both of Ocean Springs; four stepsons: Edward Reid of Biloxi; William B. 'Billy' Reid and Harvey Reid of D'Iberville; and Dewey Reid of Ocean Springs; three sisters: Margaret Young and Lucille Roberts
both of Moss Point; and Lois Wilson of Lucedale; Richard Nolan, a brother, at Texarkana, Texas; and 19 step- grandchildren.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi directed the funeral of Mrs. Reid with a graveside service in the Biloxi Cemetery.
