CLUTE, Judith Margaret
It is with profound sadness that the family of Judith Margaret Clute, 69, announces her passing, in Santa Barbara, CA, on September 6, 2009, after a courageous nine month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Judi will be lovingly remembered by her husband of six years, George; their combined group of children: Daniel (Rose) Bronner, David (Susan) Bronner, Kirstin (David) Paulsen, Kristin Clute and Matthew Clute; her brother, David (Kathy) Trees and his family; her sister, Patricia (Michael) Van Langen and her family; by her grand children, Roger Clark, Ryan Bronner, Troy Bronner, Cassondra Paulsen, Daniel Bronner, Samuel Bronner and Savannah Bronner; by her aunt Marian Hartman and her family; her aunt Imogene Lesetmoe (Barry) and the Barry family; by her adopted mother Kay Garske and adopted sister Sue Garske. Judi will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and dear friends. Judi was predeceased by her brother, Darwin Trees.
Judi was born May 2, 1940 to James and Nelda Mae (Neilson) Barry in Worthington, MN. Her father James died just thirteen months later in a construction accident. Nelda subsequently married Maylond Trees. Judi graduated from Brainerd High School. An incredibly engaging and devoted soul, she raised her three children and subsequently worked in real estate brokerage, property management and as a sorority house director.
A memorial service in memory of Judi will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 3 p.m., at the Ojai Presbyterian Church, 304 N. Foothill Rd., Ojai, with Pastor Jeff Holland officiating.
