Mr. Williams retired from the Angola Meijer store. He previously owned and operated his own trucking company. He was a member of the Steuben County Church of Christ. Mr. Williams graduated from Coldwater High School in Coldwater, Mich.
He was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Ann Arbor, Mich., to Esta and Marie (Utter) Williams. He married Louise Begley on Oct. 16, 1971. She survives in Angola.
Also surviving are two sons, Todd and Lisa Williams of Texas and Mike Williams of Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Dave Ellison of Bronson, Mich., and Kelly and David Eberts of Angola; three brothers, Don Williams of Virginia, Rick Williams of Texas, and Jerry Williams of Florida; three sisters, Ethlyn Covey of Ligonier, Jeannie Penrod of Angola and Sherry Levitt of Arkansas; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildlren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, with Bill Romans officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, Steuben County.
