CHARLES HOLLAND FUNERAL ARRANGED

Services For Santa Fe Official To Be Held At Home Monday

Funeral services for Charles L. Holland, 60 years old, division passenger agent of the Gulf, Colorado, and Santa Fe Railway, who died suddenly at his office, 110 Field Street Saturday afternoon, will be held at the residence, 5308 Reiger Avenue at 10 o'clock Monday morning with the Rev. J. Lloyd Smith, pastor of Junius Heights Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. The services will be under auspices of Pentagon Lodge No. 1080, A.F.& A.M.

Pallbearers will be C. S. Riley, H. C. Archer, O P. Schwab, G. M. Bennett, J. A. Munro, W. F. Bogle, R.R. Hunley, and J. H. Kucera.

Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maymee T. Holland; one son, Lewis S. Holland; two step-sons, S. W. McConnell of Dallas and Herbert S. McCconnell, student at the Rice Institute, Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Frank M. Fagan; two sisters, Mrs. S. D. Felt of Hamilton, Texas; Mrs. M. L. Rudasill of Hamilton, Texas; on brother, W. W. Holland of Dallas; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Mr. Holland's death came after thirty-seven years of continuous service in the passenger department of the Santa Fe. He was one of the oldest employees in point of unbroken service. Starting as an assistant ticket agent at Galveston in 1887, he was promoted four years later to ticket agent at Temple. Five years later, in 1896, he was promoted to city passenger agent at Dallas, and in 1908 he became division passenger agent, holding that position until his death.

The ticket office of the Santa Fe, 110 Field Street, will remain closed until noon Monday in honor of the memory of Mr. Holland and to allow employees to attend the funeral.
