Mary Wagner was the daughter of Joseph and Annie Wagner. On 25 August 1879 Mary married Frank Strnad. They and their parents were from Czechoslovakia (Bohemian). In the 1880 Federal Census, on the 15th of June they were living at 1457 Garden with their infant son Joe. Also living in their household was Annie Wagner, Frank's mother-in-law, widowed and 57 years old. Also in the household was Mary Wagner (widow), Frank's sister-in-law, and her four children. According to the Cuyahoga County Recorders Office, this property had been deeded to Joseph Wagner some years before.
Mary and Frank were the parents of Joseph born 10 April 1880, May (Mamie) 1882, Jennie 1885, and another daughter in 1886.
Frank died 27 Jun 1886. 3 July 1889 Mary (Wagner) Strnad married Andrew Reid. Andrew and Mary Reid were the parents of Edward born 1890 and Harry born 1892. Edward died when he was just 20 and is buried with his parents at Woodland.
On 19 May 1919 Mary and Frank's son Joseph Wagner Strnad died leaving two very young sons. Mary raised her two grandsons, Joseph F. born 1907, and Russel C. born 1911.
