Mr. Scheneman loved fishing. He fished the lakes of South Carolina, in the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean as well as most of the major lakes and streams of Wyoming. He loved to spend time with his family and will be remembered for his stories about the good old days. He moved to Douglas in March 1999 and lived here until the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doreine; son Richard; grandson Derek; brother Henry; sisters Ruth and Emma; and his parents.

He is survived by his brother Fred Scheneman of Seattle; sisters Pauline Kalmbach of Vancouver and Mary Michaels of Minneapolis; children Alan Scheneman and wife, Karen, of Rancho Cyucamonga, Calif., Pam Borrego and husband Roger of Gillette, Denise Conrad and husband Larry of Florence, Mont., Roger Scheneman of Douglas, Wendy Carlson and husband Tom of Williamston, S.C., Lisa Scheneman of Douglas and Teri Willadson and husband Fred of Hanna; 10 grandchildren; one granddaughter-in-law; and two great-grandsons.
