Faye Anderson, 75, of Albertville, died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at UAB Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at Solitude Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The Revs. Willis Kelly and Joey Cannady will be officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Anderson, of Albertville; son, Tommy (Kaye) Anderson, of Albertville; sisters, Patricia Jackson and Sue Noble; grandchildren, Alex and Amanda Stanfield, Matthew Anderson, Loni and Chris Estes, Jeremy and Brittany Anderson and Jason and Suzette Anderson; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her a son, Darryl L. Anderson, and a daughter, Vicky D. Stanfield.
Faye was a member of Solitude Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting. She was part-owner and worked at Anderson's Shoe Shop from 1961 until her illness. A customer never left while she worked there without being blessed by her smile.
