Clark A. George, age 78, of Wheatfield, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 after a long illness. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Clark and Gertrude George and had been a resident of Wheatfield for the greater part of his life. He was employed at Buffalo Pumps for 43 years before retiring in 1993. Clark enjoyed spending time with his family, picnics, gardening, and canning. He was the husband of the late Myrtle George and Agnes George, and father of the late Penny Perry and Darleen Sickeri.

He is survived by his children, Juanita George of Olean, New York, Pamela Bellreng of Olean, Sandra (Jim) Rose of Virginia, Clark (Jean) George, Jr. of Ohio, and Hope (Roy) Sullivan of Tennessee; and his step-son, Frank Williams of Tonawanda. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially Tosha (Richard) Rice, who cared for him and welcomed him into her home.

The family will receive friends from 3 -4 PM on Thursday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where services will be held at 4 PM. Interment will be cared for privately at Niagara Falls Memorial Park, Town of Lewiston, New York.
