Charlotte G. Moncrief, 93, passed away on May 14, 2010, at the Fountains at Cedar Park in Atco. Born in Deerfield, Mrs. Moncrief was the daughter of Ethelbert Stuart and Sarah (nee Hobson) LeStourgeon.

She graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1934 and went on to graduate from Taylor Business School. After graduating from business school, she began working for her Uncle George Edward LeStourgeon in LeStourgeon's Bakery as a bookkeeper. In fact, she was a lifelong resident of Bridgeton with her husband Paul E. Moncrief, whom she married in 1946, until they moved to the Fountains in 1995.

Mrs. Moncrief was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeton, Philathea Women's Society at the church and the Bridgeton branch of the Ranch Hope Auxiliary Suburban #12.

She is survived by her cousins, Maisey and Howard Williams, of Upper Pittsgrove, Doris LeStourgeon, of Delaware, and William LeStourgeon, of Florida; as well as several other family members. Her husband, Paul, predeceased her in 1998.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 19 at 11 a.m. at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
