A large concrete block fell on a 5 1 -year-old man working at a stone company, killing him, authorities said. Manitowoc County Coroner Debra Kakatsch said Keith A. Ahrens, of Valders, died at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah after the incident Thursday morning at Valders Stone and Marble Inc. Ahrens was pinned from the abdomen down to the legs by a four-ton concrete block, the coroner said. Kakatsch said a preliminary investigation indicated that Ahrens died of internal injuries.
