KNUT BERGE IS DEAD, WAS 70
Pioneer Farmer At Valders To Be Buried Wednesday Knut Berge, age 70, a resident of the county all of his life, died Sunday morning at his home in Valders. He had been a resident of the city for the last seven years after retiring from his farm near the city. He had been ill for several years.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 from the home and at 2 p.m. from the Valders Our Savior's church, the Rev. Espeseth of Manitowoc officiating. The body was taken to the home from the Otto Berge funeral parlors today.
Mr. Berge was born in the town of Liberty on the farm which he owned. His wife died three years ago. He is survived by two sons Chester on the farm and Morten at home and by three daughters, Agnes and Edna at home and Mrs. Ernest Hacker of Rte. 1, Manitowoc.
