EDWARD EVENSON

Edward Evenson, 73, of Rt. 1, Valders, who was born and spent his entire life on the homestead farm in Cato, died Saturday night at the Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Valders. The Rev. A. B. Holland will officiate and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Evenson was born in Cato in 1879 and in 1907 married Miss Sadie Michelson. His wife died in 1928.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Orin Skatrud of Rt. 1, Valders, Mrs. Edwin Heiter of Kewaunee, Mrs. Edwin Behnke of Rt. 1, Reedsville, and Mrs. Sylvia Heagle and Mrs. Vernon Lenoch of Racine; son, Edwin, now operating the farm in Cato; four sisters, Mrs. Sophia Evenson and Mrs. Peter Bodwin of Milwaukee and Mrs. Rudolph Rudie and Mrs. John Helgerud of Minneapolis; 16 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Friends may call at the Valders funeral home. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
