Mrs. Edward Evenson, nee Sadie Amelia Mickelson of Valders, passed away at the Holy Family hospital late Saturday due to a serious operation. Her death is a great shock to relatives and friends as she had been ill only a few days.
Deceased was born in the town of Two Creeks on the Michelson homestead May 1879 being forty-eight years of age at the time of death. Her genial nature made her a much esteemed friend as well as a most loving wife and mother. She was a faithful worker of Our Savior's church of Valders of which she was a member. Surviving are her husband and six children, Mrs. Orin Skatrud, Viola, Eleanore, Sylvia, Adeliine and Edwin, also five sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held from the home at one o'clock with interment at the Valders cemetery, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. O.K. Espeseth will officiate.

Mrs. Evenson who was about forty five years of age and had always enjoyed robust health died during an operation for gall stones. She was a member of a large family and also leaves a husband to whom she was married about twenty four years ago and six children, several of whom are yet in their teens.
