Henry Helgeson, 78, of Elm Terrace Nursing Home, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient the past month.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Valders, intern Lauren Espeland will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born Feb. 10, 1882, in the Town of Glenmore, Brown County, son of the late Ole and Ida Anderson Helgeson. He never married and farmed in Manitowoc County all his life.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Lena Reinertson of Kiel, Mrs. Hannah Ludstrom of Chicago and Mrs. Emma Torrison of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Berge Funeral Home, Valders, after 7 o'clock this Thursday
evening until noon Friday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the time of service.
