Funeral services for Russell Hougen, 27, town of Cato youth who was fatally shot yesterday, will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Hougen, 2-1/2 miles northwest of Valders. The body will be taken from the home to the Our Savior's church, the Rev. O. K. Espeseth officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Hougen was born in the Town of Cato, May 15, 1912. He attended grade and high school in Valders and was employed at the Nestles company plant in Valders at the time of his death.
The body is to be taken to the home from the Berge funeral parlors in Valders Saturday.
