THOMAS M. LIPPERT

Thomas M. Lippert, age 57, of 1317 S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 7, 2004, at his residence. Tom was born Aug. 19, 1947, in Manitowoc, son of the late Milo and Adele Pingel Lippert. He was a graduate of Valders High School, graduating with the class of 1965. Tom received his associate's degree in accounting from Lakeshore Technical College. On Oct. 16, 1992, he married the former Rena Ullman at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Tom was employed with Evenson Construction Co. of Valders as an accountant for many years. Survivors include his wife: Rena Lippert, Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law: Shannon Lippert and Jeff Wall, Manitowoc; five stepchildren and their spouses: Carrie and Bill Berg, Manitowoc; Kelly and Joshua Rowland, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Garry Gates and his fiancee, Jane Sanderfoot, Manitowoc; Christopher and Denise Wagner, Manitowoc; Daniel and Alexis Wagner, Sioux Falls, S.D.; 10 grandchildren: Toni and Travis Maurer, Daniel Jagodensky, Rebecca and Brandon Mueller, Mariah Berg, Taylor Wagner, Alissa, Emma and Katherine Wagner; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Gene and Topsi Lippert, Aurora, Colo.; Charles and Myrna Lippert, Valders; Keith and Audrey Lippert, Valders; and a sister and brother-in-law: Sally and Jack Hillman, Gladstone, Mich. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two infant brothers: Daniel and Roger. The family will greet relatives and friends at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the memorial service will be the Rev. Neil Piepenburg. Cremation will have taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to The Lakeshore Humane Society, Manitowoc. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Tom took great pleasure in long bike rides and watching his grandson's Little League baseball games. Papa Tom will be dearly missed by his little buddies James Nguyen and Corbin Wech and family pets, Bella, Miko and his little Rosie.
