OLENA REINERTSON

Mrs. Lena Reinertson, 86, of Rt. 1, Cato, died Tuesday morning at the Manitowoc County Hospital where she had been a patient more than 18 months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church (Our Savior) Valders, the Rev. Robert Onkka officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Lena Helgeson was born Feb. 11, 1878, in Brown County, daughter of the late Ole and Agut Anderson Helgeson. She was married to the late Alfred Reinertson Sept. 26, 1900, at Valders. He died March 8, 1950. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary Federation of her church and a charter member of Faith Church Ladies Aid.
Surviving are four sons, Richard Reinertson of Chicago, Earl Reinertson of Owen, Wis., Chauncey Reinertson of Kiel and Walter Reinertson of rural Cato; a daughter, Mrs. Alvena Larsen, of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Lundstrom of Chicago and Mrs. Emma Torrison of Riverside, Ill., 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. Four children, three sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at Farley Funeral Home, Valders, until 11:30 a.m. Friday and then at the church.
