Obituary: The Press-Dispatch, 25 Jul 2012 - Bobby D. Jackson, 77, of Winslow, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 9:30 p.m. at Memorial Hospital in Jasper. He was born in Ayshire, Pike County, Dec. 13, 1934, to James (Jimmy) and Nancy (Jones) Jackson. Jackson was retired after serving 20 years in the Air Force Communications as a Tech. Sgt. of the USAF. Surviving are two daughters, Stacey Olene Wade of Vincennes and Valerie Charlene (Cano) Schrader of Mt. Carmel, IL; two grandchildren, Jaxon Alan Schroeder and Ashley Autumn Harms, both of Mt. Carmel, IL; a sister, Wanda Stover of Oakland City; two best friends, Robert Grove of Winslow and hazel (Wade) Cano of Winslow; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Jams Jackson, preceded him death. Graveside military rites will be conducted Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 5 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery, Winslow. Curtis Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
