Mrs. Esther G. Guinn, 76, 533 S. Dorcas Road, Holland, Ohio, mother of Mrs. Donald Bohnke, route 1, Decatur, died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday at the St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. She had been ill for approximately one month.
Born on June 27, 1901, in Van Wert, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frank and Pearl Baer-Heath. She was married to Elmer Guinn on December 18, 1920; he preceded her in death in October, 1975.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Bohnke, of route 1, Decatur, Mrs. Eugene (Anette) Fry of Ohio City, Ohio, and Mrs. George (Janet) Givens of Toledo, Ohio; three sons, Richard of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Paul of Petersburg, Michigan, and Donald of Ida, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. One daughter, one brother, and one sister preceded her in death.
Services for Mrs. Guinn will be conducted at 2 p.m. (Ohio time) Tuesday at the Alspach Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Charles Rife officiating. Burial will be in the Ohio City Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m. (Ohio time) Tuesday. Preferred memorials are to the Heart (cut off)
